Why do youtube videos take so long to load all of a sudden?

My computer loaded Youtube videos fine as in you click the video and it would take a second or two then play the video as it was loading as normal. All of a sudden the videos would take forever to load then finally start playing when it was more then halfway loaded. I reformatted my computer and installed everything and tried Youtube again and it worked normal for only an hour or so then went instantly back to loading halfway or more before playing.


I hate it because i just want to watch a quick video and im waiting 3 min for the video to finally load.


I have tried to fix it by de-fragging my computer, disk clean-up.


I have 1 gig of ram. AMD 4200+ dual core processor, and an ATI Radeon x1800.

1. Use Opera browser, it will load faster and smoother, and re-install latest flash.





get the latest flash player, and install it.. make sure all the browsers are NOT running during installation...





OR..





2. It could be due to slow connection or high traffic.


Try watching it during off peak hours, the video will be smoother.





Or you could watch it offline... try using 'zillatube' .





It works well - Just yahoo or google search "zillatube" to get it.
