I just uploaded some pictures and videos from my Samsung Digimax i5 camera to my computer, and I want to play back the videos, and all I get is the video but no sound. I can still hear music but not when I play back videos. Does anyone have a solution for all this?? Please help!

Computer/Videos/Sound??
Did any software come with the camera? It sounds like your PC does not have the correct codec to play the file. Check the manual/Samsung website.

Youtube videos cant play?
Just refresh the page until you see it's playing well, that's what I do, and wait for it to buffer completely (pause it before it beggins) then when it's buffered play it.
Reply:check with your internet connection or sometimes the file is corrupted...

Zune Videos?

I just got a 30GB Zune for Christmas and don't know where to get videos for it. It has video podcasts but those aren't music videos and movies. Does anyone have any suggestions for a place to buy movies and TV episodes and music videos for my Zune? It would be GREATLY appreciated!

Zune Videos?
You can try http://www.youtube.com , http://www.limewire.com , http://video.google.com to get free videos. But only mov, wmw, mp4 is the zune supported format, so if you get other format videos, you should use a third part software to convert it to zune. I always use Cucusoft Zune Video Converter Suite, it can rip protected DVD movie and convert all popular video formats to Zune with fast speed and high output quality.

You can download the software and have a free try here:

Reply:I don't have a Zune, but this is what I came up with. It might help you.

Reply:i guess the zune marketplace doesnt have tv episodes or movies for sale YET..yea big bummer i know, but its supposed to be coming! but it has music videos..theres two ways to get to em,,you can first search for the artist, and there should be a spot on the bottom for music videos. i just got it yesterday so i'm not done surfing through it. the other way is to just go to the top music vid charts. and download them there. im sorry if i didnt help you enough =[
Reply:The anser lies in the format you need the zune player nativily supports wma, mp3, wmv, aac %26amp;jpeg . The zune format will let you import h.264, mpeg-4, Quicktime. It will then convert them into a native format for the zune player. This covers most content you would need like podcasts and such. Anwhere that sells those formats will work for you

If you want to watch a dvd you will need to rip it and convert it a wma format. If you do a search you will find a lot on the subject. You also don't really need any fancy software there are open source solutions for this but it may save you some time.

As for where to find content places like abc.com and cbs have podcasts you can download. Heck even youtube works for videos. Once you start looking you will find them. There is a lot places and programs that will get you free content you don't have to pay for.

Need help with video size and clarity when viewing computer videos on a tv through a dvd?

I recently uploaded some videos, burned them to dvd and viewed them on my dvd player, the videos weren't that clear, I can understand that as the comp screen is much smaller than the tv screen, but i was wondering:

can changing the movie's "video scale size" help with the clarity AND

What are some measures i can apply to make the video any clearer/less pixelized

Need help with video size and clarity when viewing computer videos on a tv through a dvd?
You are correct in that many videos that are primarily built for the Web or a MP4 player have too low a resolution to play clearly on a large screen TV. These lower resolution are typically stored in a video format that is 1024 or 600 pixels wide, perfect for the small screen of a MP4 portable video player but not designed for TV. Even though the number the pixels are not that much greater in TV screens, the TVs attempt to translate the video will often result in blurry videos. I don't know of any options that will result in clearer pictures, although I hear the Apple TV devices do a better job with computer videos than playing MPEGs off a DVD. There are Web sites that offer higher resolution videos, but usually you have to buy because the size and bandwidth requirements are high.
