The sound of some of my Google Video downloads start off perfect at the beginning, but then the sound slooooooowly starts to delay over time, and when the videos pass about twenty minutes or so they get ridiculously and noticeably delayed (The screen shows but the time it takes for the sound of that frame gets delayed, and the amount of that time grows bigger as the video progresses). Just wondering because this happens to me about one in every three times I download a video from Google Video.
When downoading videos off "Google Videos", do you get delayed sound?
That used to happen to me on my old computer.
In my case, it was just because my computer was old: I got is in 1999. The video card and processor were quite old and as the system got more and more bogged down, it got slower and slower.
You might have to either free up some more hard drive on your computer to improve performance, or upgrade the PC itself.

Help Converting Videos Please?
Okay I have some problems putting videos onto my video mp3 player.
1) First off, I usually SYNC my videos to they mp3 by using WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER, but lately it says that WMP does not support the codecs...? They say that YOUTUBE videos are usually in FLV or AVI format, so where can i get those codecs?
2) Does anyone know any prgrm that I can install so I can just put it straight to my mp3 without having to use WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER, cause that would make it a hella lot simpler.
3) Does anyone have an Insignia mp3 video player? If so, tell me how you put your videos on.

Well, flv and avi need to be converted in order to be used by windows media player. There is a codec called ffdshow search it up on yahoo.
Well,there is unfortunately no program but windows media player to add the songs/videos to your device. An alternative is drag and drop the files onto the player in the videos section.

Psp videos help?
I am using psp video 9 to convert my videos, but when i put them in my psp, it doesn't show up the video when i'm on my psp. I heard that the converter should convert the videos and then name then something like MV4520.mp4 so that the psp can recognize it. So i started to use 3gp_converter, but some videos are turning out corrupted on the psp.....so i was wondering which converter i should use that is really good and that my psp would recognize....thx

the 'video' folder is for downloading things directly from the internet, the MP_ROOT folder is where you copy things from your pc too.
the most popular convertor is 'psp video 9'. search google, and youll find it. if you convert alot of videos, you may want to consider buying a program... the issue i have with psp video 9 is that it is so slow. a 2.5 hr mpeg takes 2.5hrs to convert.. and if you buy a convertor, please let me know how it performs, because im currently looking for one.

Why doesn't Google Video remove dead videos from the search results?
I was about to see the movies "School Of Rock" and "Mean Girls" from their search results on Google Video and discovered that they are currently not available. Supposedly the videos showing both movies in its full length are removed due to copyright infringement, but why are they still in the search results? YouTube always remove dead movies from the search results once they were deleted for violating user terms, but why not Google Video? It's like leaving a dead body in the street while nobody notices it!

I came across this one website which showed how i can use the google video player to play videos online that are not hosted by googl video. Ipod video doesnt accept videos?
I recently got an ipod classic (video) im ripping DVDs in MPEG4 format and same thing with videos off youtube, when i drag the file from the folder its in, onto itunes and into my video, itunes freezes for like 3 minutes and resumes, the video doesnt go onto the ipod once itunes has unfrozen, any ideas on how to fix this?

Also, to make sure if my theory is correct (I sound like Einstein. Lol) click on one of the videos to see if it plays. If it doesn't the I am wrong and you need help or if it does, then that means you either have to buy the movie from iTunes or you have to download it from your computer.

I have a Aiptek video cam corder that can record videos in High Definition. I foolishly thought that Windows Movie Maker (For XP) could run the videos and edit them. okay, i want to use a free video editing software to edit some videos of the office from youtube to make one big video. i am using vixy.net converter beta to convert the actual youtube vids from their URL to .mp4 formats so they will work on the zune. i really like the vixy software to pull vids from youtube, so i would prefer to keep using that.
so, basically, i want to:
1) grab from youtube using vixy to convert to .mp4
2) take those videos and use a free video editing software (i have windows movie maker if that helps) to cut out parts of the videos to make one big one
3) convert those back to .mp4 if needed to play on the zune.

As long as they are in the right format, sounds like it, just go into settings and tell the Zune software to monitor the folder that the videos are in and they should sync automatically to either your Zune or your Zune software's library (depending on your settings). I like to pick and choose my vids so have them go into the library and then drag them to the Zune accordingly.

I want to know how to make videos for YouTube. I already know how to make videos (on ShowBiz or Windows Movie Maker). I also know how to upload the videos. Other Lupe Videos on Music Channels...........???
Alright...... The"Superstar" video made it to MTV %26amp; BET...
BUT....it wasn't because of the artist(YES Lupe is very talented!)...they put the video on because the image of the video appealed to teens %26amp; kids....In the video it's all bright %26amp; shiny with lights flashing in the background and Lupe dressed like he's Kanye's twin(I don't think that's his fault tho).
Now...I know they wouldn't dare play any other Lupe video like "Hip Hop saved my Life" or "Dumb It Down"....because it doesn't have all the flashing lights %26amp; flashy cars or booty shaking females you see in 95% of the other Hip Hop videos they play.
But anyway...what do ya'll think?....Do you think they will give Lupe a chance to put his vision of "Not-So-Flashy" videos on?

Why wont my yahoo video player play the videos?
can someone please tell me why my yahoo video player wont play the videos. i've tried everything. i've changed the speed in my wmp10, i've changed the speed in the yahoo video player, i've changed the acceleration in wmp, i've downloaded flash player and "java". i've dissabled my norton and my pop up blocker, and i've added yahoo videos to my "allow" list. nothing works, the yahoo video player launches along with the video lineup just fine but the videos wont play. videos play on all other sites except yahoo.could someone please help(in laymans terms-not computer savy). thanks for any help. oh, i'm on windowsxp, internet explorer6(cant get ie7 or wmp11) thanks again.

Ok well I finally figured out how to save videos from youtube. Well I'm trying to now save them to my mp3 player. It's a sandisk. I can save the videos to my mp3 player but they don't play the screen just stays black. But I can save videos that are download from rapidshare (spelling?) and videos I downloaded from my psp. Any help on how to make the videos that won't work work would be helpful. Thank you.

I've always watched music videos on yahoo launch. Now they've changed the format. Where can I watch videos online for free/cheap that

How do I get YouTube videos to my 8GB Zune??
Hello Everybody..I have a 8GB Zune and have been trying to get music videos from YouTube to my Zune. I have Magic Video Converter version 8.0.2.18. I have tried converting the videos to the WMV format. I have gotten one video over too my Zune Software using the Magic Video Converter but the video will not play (the song will though). Anyway, can anybody tell me step by step (or give me a link with step by step instructions) on getting videos from YouTube to my Zune using Magic Video Converter (and the video actually play!!). Oh, and I also download the videos using RealPlayer (it is the only option I have) if that is any help also. Thanks!

I don't think the your Magic Video Converter correctly converted the video. It may say it completed, but that doesn't mean it's error free. It's possible that parts of the video have not converted into a codec that Zune supports so Zune cannot show the video. But since the sound codec is supported, sounds go through.
You might want to check this site http://lifehacker.com/software/zune/hack... it explains how to make Zune accept more multimedia formats. As for the conversion, I don't recommend Magic Video Converter. It might be inconvenient to upload, but try using http://www.zamzar.com/ for converting. Every time I used for conversion everything came out perfectly.
Also, if you have Firefox, get DownloadHelper. It's the best way to download streaming Youtube videos.

I have a 512MB flip video camcorder that will take 30 mins of video before connecting to a USB port to ofload the videos. I think they are .avi ones.
I am looking for something that will offload the videos to a larger hard drive without connecting to a computer. One of the devices that would be good it it worked is the ipod camera connecter. Does this work with videos and flip video camcorders? Does this work with the ipod touch?
If it doesn't, is there a kind of mini hard drive with a screen, so you can just copy a folder over usb to it? What are these things called?

Can You put Videos on a SD memory card and watch it on your digital camera?
I have a Canon PowerShot A540 and it records videos and takes pics, and you can upload videos on to the camera, but my question is, can you put videos on it like a music video, because it connects to the t.v. and i have a sd reader for my computer, so i can put videos on the sd card, but the camera sais unknown pic, i just put it directly into the foulder, the canon program doesn't give me the option to put vids on it, please tell me if i can or can't put videos on this and use it to watch it, and if i can't, is it possible that some way i can hook up a sd to like a dvd player or something, i want to be able to watch videos on my tv without hooking it to my computer or putting videos on a disk.

you can try youtube (youtube.com). i know it's not specifically for music videos, but what you do is you just search for videos you want to see and a list of videos come up. don't click on any one of them yet. first, look for the plus signs on the bottom left corner of the video's image. then, decide which one of the videos on the list you want and click on the plus sign. once you do, the video gets added on to your "QuickList", which is a lineup of videos/your playlist. continue searching for videos to add and when you find the last one you want, click on the actual video and it will play, then the rest of your QuickList will play one after another, continuously.

I have two videos that seem to be very shocking when first seen. The title of the first video is called Demons and Ghosts. The next video is called Demons and Ghosts 3. Both of these videos were released on Metacafe by the same creator. I just want to know your thoughts about these videos. Is the paranormal activity in these videos of ghosts and demons? You decide.

Chairs moving? I could do it by having rope tied to the legs. You never saw the legs. Doors can open, films can be edited. What was behind the camera to make it fall? Things flashing in front of the camera...Fly a piece of paper in front of the camera on a string...And come on...a face to face with a robe covered shape. Ugh. They set the stage so you can be frightened. But demons and ghosts? Good stunts and editing.
While I believe evil exists, these are too "perfect" to be true videos.

Try to re-create it and you'll see how easy it is.
Video 2) A dude in a costume, you can see the black cloth over his face. Looked like a red wool blanket wrapped around a guy with a sniper veil over his face. When the light shines into the hood, you can't see the back of it.

Transfering videos into iTunes?
I've gone onto Google Video and downloaded some videos in mp4 format (which is the format I've been told is the right one to put them onto my iPod video). But when I go to transfer these videos to my iTunes library, it only transfers some and not all (and these have been sucessfully put onto my iPod), but they're all the same format. I'm confused! I have the latest version of iTunes. I've tried syncing videos of different formats onto my iPod and it has worked but the videos have no sound on my iPod. Help please?? Thanks!

I want to make a good video. I don't know how to cut clips out of other videos %26amp;%26amp; I do not know how to edit the videos I make from my digital camera. okay, i want to use a free video editing software to edit some videos of the office from youtube to make one big video. i am using vixy.net converter beta to convert the actual youtube vids from their URL to .mp4 formats so they will work on the zune. i really like the vixy software to pull vids from youtube, so i would prefer to keep using that.
so, basically, i want to:
1) grab from youtube using vixy to convert to .mp4
2) take those videos and use a free video editing software (i have windows movie maker if that helps) to cut out parts of the videos to make one big one
3) convert those back to .mp4 if needed to play on the zune.

Than once you have your wmv office videos on your computer, Open "Windows movie maker" and click "import video" find all the videos and organize them into one big movie as you please. And then once your finished making your video click file%26gt;%26gt;save movie file%26gt;%26gt;select the computer%26gt;%26gt;next%26gt;%26gt;name your video%26gt;%26gt;give it a location%26gt;%26gt;next%26gt;%26gt;next again. You than should have your big video which is still in wmv format, and because your Zune accepts wmv, you get just import it into you player.

Why I loose my video quality when I transfer videos from mini DV camcorder to PC?
I am transferring my videos from Canon Z60 mini DV camcorder using FIREWIRE 1394 port and Windows Movie Maker. When I watch the same video by connecting the camcorder directly to TV via AV port, the quality of videos is very good. But when I transfer the videos to my PC, using firewire port and windows movie maker, I just receive a resolution of 320x240 pixels. This is very poor resolution. Is their any other form of transferring the Videos from mini DV cassettes to PC, keeping the QUALITY of the videos? Will using any other professional Video software while transferring will help? Do somebody know which FORMAT windows movie maker save the video in? Is is MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 for anyother format?

PowerDirector is smaller an a lot more user friendly. The learning curve is much lower, quality is the same for the videos. Editing is easy. Not great in the special effects or if you want to make some complex edits (zooms, frame rotation, P%26amp;S).

I have read various things and i have tried:
...Creating a folder in MP_ROOTcalled VIDEO and I have tried it a few times in case it is case sensitive...
...Putting my MP4 folder in the 100MNV01 folder and the 101ANV01...
The PSP shows less memory when I add the videos but when I go to my videos, it says that there are no videos on the memory stick. I have 1GB and a lot of it left...
Can someone please help me...any solutions..sites..etc will be very appreciated...

Videos and Music aren't showing up on my video iPod?
So I have a regular 30 gb iPod video. I haven't used it in like 2 months, so yesterday I plugged it in and it said I needed to download a software update, so I did, and after that no music or videos show up on my iPod when I disconnect it! It says they're on there on iTunes, and when i go under the settings in the iPod it says that lots of space is taken up by them, which I guess means the music and videos are on there, but i can't get to them...and I can view my pictures, but no music or videos =(
Also, if I click on the iPod link under my computer, theres like a note and photo folder and stuff, but no music or videos folder!! please someone help me!

meanwhile, slide the hold button (across from headphone jack) back and forth on your ipod. then hold the menu button and center button down at exactly the same time. do this till an apple appears on the screen. this is called a soft reset.
now connect the iPod to your computer and see what happens!! make sure you don't have manually manage music selected. it should work for you. let me know! this is interesting!!

i have the latest version of psp video 9...
i have firmware 3.40 -oe ...when i convert videos in psp video 9...then transfer to my psp it doesnt show up as full screen....(as opposed to the previous version 1.74 it automatically did fullscreen)
but if i hit triangle and press fullscreen the video became fullscreen but i noticed the picture became grainy and has more pixels....pls help...what should i change in settings or something?

He didn't take the graphics too far, as some artists do today. Nirvana's Heart Shaped Box was one of my fav's, the colors used in that video were Gorgeous! And who doesn't love Blind Melon's No Rain? That little bee girl has become a cultural icon! The problem I have with videos today is that they are pretentious and unoriginal.

Is it okay to have a mix between bought iTunes videos and google videos on your iPod? I tried this once and it said that my iTunes video had been damged and my other google videos and some color defects...And then when I took it off, after a while it was fine again...and I would like to buy some more videos from iTunes but I'm afraid it might get damaged again. Syncing Music Videos on to iPod Classic 6G?
I am not able to sync my music videos to my ipod. I have converted all my videos into ipod format and saved them in a folder called Music Videos. Then i went to iTunes and added the folder to my iTunes Library. But all the videos were added under the Movies Section of my Library and were mixed up with my Movies and when i sync my ipod all the music videos come under the Movies section and not under the Music Videos section. I want my movies and music videos to be seperate. Can anyone tell me how to put them under the music videos section ?

What is the best video codec to use for videos?
Just to be clear, these are videos I intend to keep on my hard drive, so it has to be rather compressed.
Things I am looking for:
1) compression
2) quality
3) ease of use
4) compatibility
5) playability
I don't want some obscenely large video file, as DV AVI or uncompressed AVI would give me. I don't want a video file that loses significant amounts of quality when compressed (some lose colorspace information, mpeg-4 loses detail when there are dark colors in the video, mpeg-1 tends to have weird frame skips and quality loss with my encoder, etc.). Some have glitches, create an interlaced effect, or something of that nature. I need this video file to be easy to access with burners, video editors, video converters, etc. And finally, I need to be able to play the video easily and universally (on other peoples' computers) without having to install bunches of proprietary codecs, or even worse, special software to play the video.

Things I am looking for:
1) compression
2) quality
3) ease of use
4) compatibility
5) playability
I don't want some obscenely large video file, as DV AVI or uncompressed AVI would give me. I don't want a video file that loses significant amounts of quality when compressed (some lose colorspace information, mpeg-4 loses detail when there are dark colors in the video, mpeg-1 tends to have weird frame skips and quality loss with my encoder, etc.). Some have glitches, create an interlaced effect, or something of that nature. 1st: one is a video of Tim Howar and Christopher Hanke (sometimes people just say "Tim" or "Chris Hanke" etc.) doing Christmas bells in RENT
The other one(s) are videos of the Broadway musical "In My Life" two people who were in RENT were the stars
The other one was a reviewer defending "In My Life"
The other one(s) are videos of Forbidden Broadway doing RANT (parody of RENT) they are actual videos of the actual cast doing it, not the video of the RENT movie cast lipsinging it.
The other one is this video of Uncle Floyd doing stand up comedy
