When I try to convert .flv video files to windows media player videos I get "the conversion of your video fil

I have a youtube downloader, and I am trying to convert the .flv videos which I have downloaded into windows media player videos so that I can view them on windows media player. But whenever I try to convert them I always get a message that says ""the conversion of your video file has failed. This can be caused by a not supported combination of parameters or by a not supported video codec." For the record, I just reinstalled windows on my system, and I was able to convert videos before I reinstalled windows, but now suddenly I can't. So how can I be able to convert the .flv videos into windows media videos? Do I need to download something?

Reply:I could help you here.

Use Riva FLV Encoder. http://www.rivavx.com/?encoder

It can convert your video into almost any format including avi, wmv, mpg etc. Also allows you select the quality, size, cropping etc. And it is free too.

Try it, you will love it.

Hope that helped.
