Videos to my IPOD from Youtube?

So I have tried tons of programs online to convert Youtube videos to my IPOD video nano. I tried DVDSOFTWARE, Jesterware, Videora, etc. They all have a problem. Like so far I got to the step where I know how to download a Youtube video to FLV format then converting it to a MP4 for my IPOD. The problem is that the program that I use to convert the FLV to the MP4 is that everytime I use a program that I downloaded, it gives me a Quicktime file. When I drag it to my iTunes, nothing happens. Just my PC (not Mac) pointer shows the timer then nothing. The video file is not in my iTunes. I tried "Add file to Library..." and that is just the same as dragging it to my iTunes.





I found this really good program called MediaCoder, I trust it a lot because its not a free trial and also nothing is wrong with it except dragging it to iTunes.





So, all in general, what am I doing wrong and right? Why doesn't MediaCoder work? And if so, what is a good free, safe, program that works?

if you want put the video on your iPod, make sure the video formats are as follows:


H.264 video, up to 1.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per sec., Low-Complexity version of the H.264 Baseline Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48 kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; H.264 video, up to 768 Kbps, 320 by 240 pixels, 30 frames per sec., Baseline Profile up to Level 1.3 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48 kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per sec., Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48 kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats





because the iPod only support these video formats.


The Youtube video is .flv,if you want put youtube videio on your iPod.you need a iPod video convert software to help you.You can search such software on http://www.google.com or http://www.yahoo.com

Reply:I got a new ipod nano. I guess it would be the same thing.





First set up your Itunes to Manual Select.





Then go to www.vixy.net paste the url from the youtube video you want and then click on covert to mp4 thats it.


then just go to itunes and select add files to library. Then drag it into your IPOD. Make sure your itunes is set to manual
