when i actually download the video, the video is perfectly fine. but when i put it into itunes and convert it for ipod use, the sound goes away. so then wn i update my 30g video ipod, it shows the video, but no sound. any ideas why this is happening? (o sum fyi, the videos are not purchased from itunes)

Computer/Videos/Sound??
I just uploaded some pictures and videos from my Samsung Digimax i5 camera to my computer, and I want to play back the videos, and all I get is the video but no sound. I can still hear music but not when I play back videos. Does anyone have a solution for all this?? Please help!

when i try to play any youtube videos, the video just shows "loading" and doesnt change. i used to be able to play youtube videos until recently. i've updated my flash player and it still cant play. i can play google videos though. can anyone help? thanks a million!

I just got a 30GB Zune for Christmas and don't know where to get videos for it. It has video podcasts but those aren't music videos and movies. Does anyone have any suggestions for a place to buy movies and TV episodes and music videos for my Zune? It would be GREATLY appreciated!

It will then convert them into a native format for the zune player. This covers most content you would need like podcasts and such. Anwhere that sells those formats will work for you
If you want to watch a dvd you will need to rip it and convert it a wma format. If you do a search you will find a lot on the subject. You also don't really need any fancy software there are open source solutions for this but it may save you some time.
As for where to find content places like abc.com and cbs have podcasts you can download. Heck even youtube works for videos. Once you start looking you will find them. There is a lot places and programs that will get you free content you don't have to pay for.

recently I went to DC and I brought my camera, of course, to take some videos.
I saved the videos onto my uncle's computer and on photobucket.
I would ask my uncle to send the videos but I don't want him to get into all that boring uploading and sending stuff.

The video needs to be in .mp4 or .mov (Quicktime Movie) format - both are accepted by iTunes. Lately, I've found that converting them to .mp4 doesn't always work, so if that happens, just convert it to .mov!
Here are the directions:
- Right-click/copy the URL of the video that you want.
- Go to http://zamzar.com/url and right-click/paste the URL into the box.
- Choose Convert To .... .mp4 or .mov
- Type in your email address.
- Click Convert It.
- A few minutes later they'll send you a link. Follow it and save the vid to your computer.
- Open iTunes and at the top, click File %26gt; Add File To Library.
- Find the vid.
There ya go! It'll be added to your library, under Movies. (To change it, right-click on the vid and choose Get Info. Then click on the "Video" tab. From there you can change it to Movie, TV Show, or Music Video).

The zshare videos have suddenly started buffering a lot which was not a problem before.?
Recently the buffering problem have started with zshare. I cant say it buffering because it is more than buffering as only 1 percent is buffered in 5 minutes. while I can watch videos on topranger, putfile, youtube and other video sharing software without any buffering and this was also the case with zshare before some days as there was no buffering while watching a video with zshare. As I am using an internet speed of more than 5 mbps.
I repeat there is only a problem with zshare videos while all other video sharing softwares are working well as they used to work before.
Help me out of this please...

I uploaded my photos and videos to a Picasa web account. Now I want to transfer all of them to another account (a new one).
But I deleted all my photos and videos from my Hard Drive several weeks ago.
I downloaded my photos from my old Picasa web account. But there is no link to download videos on Picasa web.

I have a youtube downloader, and I am trying to convert the .flv videos which I have downloaded into windows media player videos so that I can view them on windows media player. But whenever I try to convert them I always get a message that says ""the conversion of your video file has failed. This can be caused by a not supported combination of parameters or by a not supported video codec." For the record, I just reinstalled windows on my system, and I was able to convert videos before I reinstalled windows, but now suddenly I can't. Videos that speak of God typiclaly show scenes of the Universe?
My belief is that God is the Universe (more to it, but too much for here.) I take crap about that regularly. But why is it that so many videos and pictures that speak of God show pictures of space/the galaxy/the Universe? If there weren't some foundation for the idea that God and the Universe are one, wouldn't people show pictures of what they think God is? Or are they unknowingly showing pictures of what God really is?

I think that you are correct.
God is one with all of creation. This is difficult to understand from the perspective of what seems to be a separate human body. Remember God created everything. In the beginning there was only God. For this reason God created the heavens and the earth from the only thing that existed, Him/Herself. Any thing that exists is made from this God stuff. Carl Sagan called it star stuff. For this reason oneness is the absolute truth, it could not be otherwise. After all if it is not from God then where would it be from?
God is so great and complex that it is difficult for us to even comprehend such a being. For this reason God ‘s different attributes have been broken down to more understandable segments God the father is considered to be the source of all that is. God the son refers to us the created aspects of God. God the Holy Spirit refers to the connection between the creator and the creation. So the answer is yes to your question. No real conflict exists between the two ideas. Unless of course one is looking for a conflict.

It also strongly implies that my physical appearance isn't what conveys the Creator's image so much as the consciousness underlying it, that I am an image more in the sense of a diagram than an exact physical representation. Personal interaction is best, and if it must be a recorded type, writing--designed as a pure organized way to convey thoughts--is second best.

Because We (you and me) believe it is a manifestation of God and because Christians and other dualists believe it is a creation of God. It is the rare person who can exclusively "imagine" a totally formless transcendent , pervading deity who is reality, consciousness, and experiendce itself. We can intellectually imagine it, we can even mystically intuit or feel it, but at a certain point, even those "believing" in a monistic,absolutist, and impersonal idea of God have some sort of image or metaphor in their minds about it. We are form and we mostly can only relate to things through form and the "I-Thou" experience. I think God is cool with that, though.

When I watch Youtube videos, sometimes, they get stuck. How can I fix this so I can watch the videos?
What I mean by stuck is that the video seems to have loaded fully but then when it's played to a certain point it stops playing, and the Related Videos screen, that appears at the end of the video, begins to flash very rapidly. After that the only way I can watch the video is to wait a day or two for the video to reload. How can I fix this and prevent it from happening? At the very least, how can I reload the video without having to wait a couple of days? And please answer this question in simple, nontechnical English. I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to computers.

yes, i found a program a while ago called Moyea FLV Downloader. it was free and can download certain videos off the internet, like from sites such as YouTube and Facebook. but there are a few videos i would like to save from ebaumsworld.com and espessially WWE.com, but there is no URL above the new small window that pops up for you to watch the WWE video on, and Moyea just simply won't work for the ebaumsworld video. so i was wondering if anyone new of any good programs or methods of saving internet videos off the internet. preferrably free ways (at least for now) because i havn't gotten around to getting a MUCH card so i cannot purchase anything online yet. anything would be appreciated, if you have links those might be nice too. thanks. ;)

My camera videos are uploading at a faster than normal speed, how do i fix it?
I have a Canon SD630 and when i upload the videos i have just taken they are in like fast forward mode... i can't figure out how to change the setting, or what setting to change, or what to change it too. Regardless i can't use the video mode to take videos because there not at a normal speed on the computer making them worthless... need videos because i have a one year old... Please help i'll try anything, i just want normal videos

Perhaps you've used the "fast frame rate" mode to shoot the movie - switch to "standard" mode.

Youtube problems - videos?
I've uploaded two videos to a youtube channel, but they do not appear on my channel. when i click the videos heading on my channel, they don't even appear there although it says there are 2 videos... Plus, there is no video box on my main channel page even though i have checked the box for there to be one. I know it can take ages for a video to appear in the search, but this seems a bit odd. Is this normal? Can anyone help?

How do I place videos in the "Video" section of a 2GB iRiver Clix mp3?
So I have an iRiver Clix 2GB mp3, and I'm having trouble putting video on it. I understand the file formatting, and I have videos that have the appropriate format (.avi), but whenever I copy a video file into the folder on my computer it doesn't go into the "Video" index of the mp3. It goes into the "Extras" folder, and I have to click "Browse Device" in order to get to it.
What am I doing wrong? How can i get my videos into the actually "Video" folder?
I'm finding this immensly frusturating.

When playing videos and music on my computer, they randomly slows down?
Hi, I have windows vista ultimate, and I make tons of videos. In November, I built a new pc, and it worked great! no problems (specs are at the bottem). Now I only have one problem, and to me this is a big problem. I make tons of videos, with my freinds, and sometimes for money. Im going to college for video in a year and a half, so I need to do as much now as possible. The problem is that all songs and videos on my computer randomly will slow down for 4-5 seconds, then continue as if it hadnt happend. I have no idea what the cause of this is. This did not happen until february, when I got windows vista. before installing it, I completly formated my harddrive, and installed vista ultimate (previously had windows xp pro).
Now I have no idea how to fix this problem. You now are probably wondering why I waited so long to say this, but I just finally had enough of it. I just put up with it for so long. It does not only slow down while watching and listenign to videos and music on my comp

This buffer file goes into your RAM (not hard drive). It takes a few seconds to load the file and uses a fair amount of your RAM resources. For some reason it sounds like your computer is a little slow when it comes to buffering your files. A RAM increase is appropriate due to the enormous RAM requirement of Vista Ultimate.

I encountered something as such with itunes, I dunno why this happened but i got pissed and deleted it and started using windows media player. it was better and then when a new release came out for itunes i downloaded it and it worked fine again. Ok so i just got a camera a DXG-506V the kind with the flip screen thingy lol [im not the best with electronics] and it shoots videos as well as pictures so i shot a video of me and some friends goofing around and it plays fine on the camera but when i upload them onto my computer the pictures come up fine in the gallery and the videos come up with like a image of a movie strip on em and then i click on them and it asks me where i want to play it and i click windows media player or center [ive tried both-i have a windows vista computer] and when i click on them you can hear the sound but you cant see the videos at all it just shows the little animation things that it does when you play music...ive read the manual and there nothing in there that says that i need like another cord or a disc to install in fact it doesnt even come with one you just plug up the usb cord and your good to go so ive tried everything i can think of and nothing soooo.... help me out! urg..very frustrated = ]

So - since I do not know what file is your video in (avi? mpeg1? mpeg2?) here is general answer - situation you described (audio OK, but animation instead video) happens when your PLAYER (=not the software you used to transfer video) does not have proper video codec.
Like if the video is in DV format, your windows media player needs to have DV codec. OR is it DivX? If your transfering software recorded in DivX 6 and your WMP has only DivX 5, it will play exactly what you described.
So look for video codec in the format you need.
And I would start with KLM codec Vista package - it has probably all of them:-)

How to get videos on my psp?
So me and my brother have psp's with the same memory card. But he has a black psp and mine is silver. Also my memory card came with my psp and he had to buy his separetly. But they're still the same 1g memory card. My brother has videos from google on his from just saving the video and dragging it over onto the memory card. But when i tried to do this with my psp and my memory card the video's would drag over, but then my psp would say that it had no videos. So then i tried his memory card and the videos on his memory card worked on my psp. Then i tried my memory card on his psp and tried to get the videos that way but it still didn't work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated :-)

If not, it might be faulty, search the web for some people with the same problem, though i would suggest you take it back to the joint you bought it at and see if the guys at the counter can fix or sort it out. But thats a very interesting problem you have. Oh and also make sure ALL your videos and in mpg-4 format or the psp wont see the videos

Problems with videos on my new Sansa e280 mp3 player???
so when i use the video conversion/transfer software they give you then disconnect the e280 the videos either have no sound or no video(mostly no sound), however this may be a prblem with the videos themselves as they are youtube videos downloaded and converted to wmv, or avi. has anyone else expierienced this problem? Does anyone have a solution?

i have windows vista and installed the vista codec pack twice (same 1 my bro is using) and used WMP 11 and BSPlayerPro, but the videos dont play any sound. In Google video and YouTube i can hear sound and video. What could be wrong ?

Hello everyone. I hope I'll find some answers here. There are 2 video folders in video iPod, right? Movies and Music Videos. However, after converting it in proper format, my music videos will go down to the Movies section and mix with my movies. What am I doing wrong? How can I put my music videos in the proper section? Uploading MySpace Videos?
I have just uploaded 2 home videos onto MySpace. It went through the whole uploading part, and now it brings me to the next page. It shows 2 links/names of my videos, but to the right of the link its still saying "video status: processing". Plus on both video's its saying the times are 0:00. One is about three minutes and the second one is like one minute. When I try to view my videos, its saying "not viewable" when I already uploaded. Basically, I wanted to add these into my blog and just curious if anyone knew whats goin on/help me. Dont mean to be a dimwit about this, just first time doing this. I tried YouTube, but kept having problems (even after "confirming" my e-mail 5 times). So any help be completely appreciated. Thank you!

Why won't video spin let me open and edit videos from my nikon digital camera?
I downloaded a free version of Pinnacle video Spin to edit videos for youtube.. but the only videos it will let me open and edit are from my cell phone. My digital camera is a Nikon coolpix l2
aand when I simply try to open a video file it says.."not able to open..blahblah"

I can't upload videos from my digital mini-cam to my pc?
I've tried to put some videos from my mini-cam to my pc. The guy at the store I bought the camcorder from told me all I would need is a dv cable. I tried uploading video from both picassa (a google program, I've probably mispelled, and also from window video player). Both times, I get a message that says my camcorder device is not recognized. Do I need a video capture device? I downloaded a trial version of easycap, but I can't figure out, or it doesn't seem obvious to me that I can actually capture a video from my camcorder to my pc using this program. I feel like I need a button to click on that says, "upload video" or "capture video", but the easycap program doesn't have that button. I'm kind of at a dead end, so any help would be so helpful. I have a video ipod nano and i cant put pictures or videos or music videos on it HELP!!?
i know that the pictures are on my ipod because whenever i plug it in, my computer puts up a window showing a picture viewer...and when i go to the video section of itunes it shows the music videos i have and they work perfectly on the computer but when i play my ipod..it just says i have no pictures or videos what am i doing wrong!!??! oh and i know the videos have to be mpg4 and they are, it just doesnt work

But they should play music video's right? But, I would like to know why a 2-3 minute video is 80-90 MB's? I have seen people with videos up to 9-10 minutes long, and mine are short videos. I have been splitting the videos in parts 1 and 2. I have no clue as to how to compress videos. I have seen this done, but need someone to explain it to me step by step. I am pretty much computer illiterate when it comes to that stuff.

you did not mention what your operating system is.if you want to do it yourself:
1-purchase an video capture card which is supported by your operating system(for example woindows Vista).all of these capture cards have softwares for installing beside software
as a video converter.you may also obtain third party softwares
with more converting options if you like.after installing drivers and video converter software do as follow
2-connect the cable from your line-out or video-out of your cammera to the capture card's line-in or video-in .
3-start your video converter software.then it gives you options to choose the format you want for example dvd,mpeg4,vcd...etc
choose the one you want and then start to download your records from the tape to save in your pc
4-obtain a dvd or cd writer.
5-all writers hav softwares to enable you to write your cds and dvds for example "NERO"

you did not mention what your operating system is.if you want to do it yourself:
1-purchase an video capture card which is supported by your operating system(for example woindows Vista).all of these capture cards have softwares for installing beside software
as a video converter.you may also obtain third party softwares
with more converting options if you like.after installing drivers and video converter software do as follow
2-connect the cable from your line-out or video-out of your cammera to the capture card's line-in or video-in .
3-start your video converter software.then it gives you options to choose the format you want for example dvd,mpeg4,vcd...etc
choose the one you want and then start to download your records from the tape to save in your pc
4-obtain a dvd or cd writer.
5-all writers hav softwares to enable you to write your cds and dvds for example "NERO"
6-start to burn a cd or dvd and writ the video file that you have downloaded and saved in your pc.
probably you will fail for 1st and 2nd time but finally you will have your video on a cd or dvd.

Does anyone know of a free online video auto-captioner/subtitler that works really well for subbing into english from a japanese dubbed video? I have some videos I really want to watch that are all in japanese- Is there a possible way to subtitle or caption videos automatically without having to type in the lines? Because first off I don't speak japanese, so it would be impossible to type sentences I don't even understand.
I really need something that is free as well since I don't have paypal or any other money actually... If someone would help me out here I would be totally greatful for the suggestions and help.

Creative Zen: converting videos to put on the player?
I have recently got a Creative Zen:

It all works fine except i am unable to convert any videos to put on the player. I am using the converter which came with the product (CtConvU) but it fails to convert any of my videos, regardless of what format they are to begin with (I have tried many). It complains of the error:
"The video file does not match the playback capability of your player. Video converter is unable to convert the video into a supported format because the codec required is not installed on your computer." I have used video converters in the past with no problems at all.
If you know what the problem is or/and know how to solve it please answer!
Also are there any patches avaliable for the converter prehaps?

I'd say that your best bet is to go to Creative Lab's website (www.creativelabs.com), go to Support--%26gt;Downloads, and choose your player, etc. Check if there's any updates (firmware included), and if there is, install them. If there is no updates, try reinstalling the converter software. If it STILL doesn't work, I'd recommend trying SUPER video converter (http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html). It's free, and converts just about any video format to just about whatever you want (including the Zen... Well, at least the Zen Vision: M, which is what I own.)

I regularly have to convert between video file formats; recently, i have stopped using software and now use an entirely online application at www.mediaconverter.org. here u can convert between the vast majority of formats and also can download streaming video if u have an url. I have neve gotany kind of malware from the site so i thouroughly reccomend it

Problem with MPEG videos?
I've been having problems with MPEG-1, MPEG-2, and MPEG-4 videos in WMP11. When I play them, they will play, but I can't fast forward through them (Move the little slider on the bar in WMP11). Say like if I want to go from one minute, to 6 minutes, it freezes up and only plays audio, doesn't show video for the rest of the video. These are videos I record with my capture card, and other videos so it's not my capture card. I switched the output format to AVI and it gets to 3GB+ for a 3 or 4 minute video, so I don't like to use that, except when I use that it plays and fast forwards with no problem. There are other formats DVD, VCD, and SVCD, but I haven't tried those yet. I rather like the MPEG formats. Does anyone know why they are doing this, or how I can fix it? Is there a MPEG player I can download besides WMP11 that will work better with them?

Upside down videos. HELP?
i have a couple of video files on my computer, they open with windows media player (WMP).
I recently got another video and found it strage that when i played it, the video was upside down. I didn't really worry because it was only one video.
Now i have cheaked some of my other videos and a couple are now playing upside down aswell. These were fine before, but now they are not playing properly.
Why is this??? What can i do to make them play the right way round????

My webcam videos are HUGE (4GB video thats 4 min long), how can i make them smaller?
I made around 10 videos with my webcam (its built in to my toshiba laptop) and each video seems to be around a GB per minute. i like these videos and want to keep them, but they are taking up a rediculous amount of space on my computer. is there any free software out there that can perhaps convert them (they are .avi files) or do something to them to make them take up less space? or are there any alternative ways of allowing me to keep theses videos and yet get back some space on my computer?

AVI format causes the problem. Convert to mpg, so it will become 1MB/minute. Windows movie maker might a nice choice for u, it saves on wmv foramt which saves lots of disk space.
