i want to upscale all the images/videos that i see on my hdtv from my htpc. is therre a softwaree that could upscale all video content being played like a codec to play all my saved videos, online youtube videos, or just dvds to 1080i? i have a poweerfull system so im not worried about requirements but i do have xp to give u an idea.
ALSO! when i play just standar definition tv channels from my antenna they look horrible!! if i had a computeer running with the software that upscalees video, could i upscalee tv channels some how?

Upscaling videos on htpc?
Upscaling should occur naturally, if you are outputting at an HD resolution to the HDTV.
Nothing can help your reception except getting a better antenna or switching to an ATSC digital tuner, if there are digital over-the-air channels available at your locality.
