Upside down videos. HELP?

i have a couple of video files on my computer, they open with windows media player (WMP).

I recently got another video and found it strage that when i played it, the video was upside down. I didn't really worry because it was only one video.

Now i have cheaked some of my other videos and a couple are now playing upside down aswell. These were fine before, but now they are not playing properly.

Why is this??? What can i do to make them play the right way round????

Upside down videos. HELP?
I had a friend who had the same problem. One day half of her videos were randomly upside down. We never did figure out what the problem was but she fixed it by switching to from windows media player to VLC media player.
Reply:This is due to a known bug in earlier versions of Windows Media Player when used in combination with certain video cards. You need to make sure you're using the most recent versions of Windows Media Player, DirectX, and the latest drivers for your video card, which you can usually down load from your video card's manufacturer's website. Also, Microsoft offers patch which solves the problems. The link below takes you to the location where you can download the patch.
