Transfering videos into iTunes?

I've gone onto Google Video and downloaded some videos in mp4 format (which is the format I've been told is the right one to put them onto my iPod video). But when I go to transfer these videos to my iTunes library, it only transfers some and not all (and these have been sucessfully put onto my iPod), but they're all the same format. I'm confused! I have the latest version of iTunes. I've tried syncing videos of different formats onto my iPod and it has worked but the videos have no sound on my iPod. Help please?? Thanks!

I had same problem, it could be that not all the videos are in the same format. When you use the iTunes converter it doesn't work , you get video but no sound.

Make sure it is formated in one of these"
