Psp videos help?

I am using psp video 9 to convert my videos, but when i put them in my psp, it doesn't show up the video when i'm on my psp. I heard that the converter should convert the videos and then name then something like MV4520.mp4 so that the psp can recognize it. So i started to use 3gp_converter, but some videos are turning out corrupted on the psp.....so i was wondering which converter i should use that is really good and that my psp would recognize....thx

just continue to use the 3gp converter all you have to do is put a folder called MP_ROOT in the root of the memory stick and put the MV4520.mp4 in there
Reply:download the video that you want. then convert the video to mp4 using these two programs. i recommend downloading both of them. i tried many converters and only these two satisfy me.

i use this for avi videos files and movies.its so easy to use and really fast compared to the others.


you have to change the language to ENGLISH and configure it to MODEL: MP4, FOR PSP (DIRECT, RENAME)


drag and drop the video into the box


after it is finished converting, take the two files (example: MV243313789 and MV243313789.thm) and place them in your F:\MP_ROOT\100MNV01 folder.

this one is not as fast as the first one. i use this one for music videos. i works so well. and the plus side is...you can crop the videos!


after is is finished converting, place the two files (example: Rush and Rush.jpeg) in F:\VIDEO folder.
Reply:well, if you simply format the mem stick, when you open the usb connection, the MP_ROOT folder will already be there..then simply copy the mp4 to either the folder with 'anv' in its name.


the 'video' folder is for downloading things directly from the internet, the MP_ROOT folder is where you copy things from your pc too.


the most popular convertor is 'psp video 9'. search google, and youll find it. if you convert alot of videos, you may want to consider buying a program... the issue i have with psp video 9 is that it is so slow. a 2.5 hr mpeg takes 2.5hrs to convert.. and if you buy a convertor, please let me know how it performs, because im currently looking for one.


there is another free convertor on http://www.downloads.com just search for 'psp video'. i have not tried it yet, so cant tell you much about it.
Reply:The other programs mentioned here are ok. But if you were part of a select circle, ahem, you'd know not to use nothing else than Super C. Not only the best for Ipod, PSP, etc, but freeware. It will not only convert your movies into mp4, but it will also create all the files needed in your PSP to see them. Search for it and enjoy
